Terms & Conditions Tranzer

Tranzer is an application of Tranzer B.V., registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 69169578. We propose you to read the Terms & Conditions carefully before you agree with these to finish your registration at the application Tranzer.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions occurs during the registration process in the app, by checking the “Agree” box prior to completing your registration. Without your agreement, you can not make full use of Tranzer’s Services. You can then plan trips, but do not buy tickets.

General

Tranzer is an application that can be used to plan, book and pay for travelling by public transport or taxi. After registration and receiving your account, you can book and pay for public transport or taxi trips or via the Tranzer Platform. Payments are made using the payment method associated with the account. Once you bought your ticket, you can enter the appropriate public transport vehicle during the permitted time. The ticket on your mobile device can be shown at the gate or to an inspector, busdriver or conductor to demonstrate that you are entitled to travel.

Use application

If you travel with a mobile ticket in Tranzer, you are responsible for being able to show a valid ticket. You must therefore take care of a sufficiently charged, properly working smartphone. In order to be able to provide you with a ticket, location facilities (GPS) of the telephone must be switched on. A ticket in tranzer is valid in combination with a valid proof of identity. A check by a carrier can be asked for a valid photo ID. You are responsible for a valid proof of identity (passport, identity card or driver’s license).

Payments

All payments are managed via the app, using your preferred method of payment and in your preferred currency. You understand that use of the Services may result in charges to you for the services you receive from a Third Party Provider. All Charges are due immediately and Tranzer will facilitate the payment. Tranzer will send you a receipt by email.

Tranzer will assist the buyers in order to solve any problems originated from the purchase of the Services. Tranzer will hold responsibility over the disputes opened by buyers, such as chargebacks, complaints of any kind, cancellations and refunds.

Tickets

The conditions of the participating carriers apply to traveling with a mobile ticket. If you buy a ticket in Tranzer, you agree to the conditions of the relevant carriers. You can consult the conditions via the links below:

Return payments

In the event of a technical error in the Tranzer app, you can submit a request for a refund of the travel sum to Tranzer via support@tranzer.com. In the event of a delay of the carrier, the conditions of the relevant carrier apply. In case of an order error you are not entitled to a refund of your travel sum.

Delay

If you are delayed during a trip, which delay may entitle you to a refund, you can request a refund from the relevant carrier of the trip. Tranzer will deliver a confirmation of your purchase with the necessary information for requesting a refund in the event of a delay.

Intellectual Property

The copyright, design and content of the application Tranzer belong to Tranzer B.V. Tranzer is a brand. Company names as mentioned in the application are brands of the concerned companies. All these brands and logos are only used for the purpose of the application, and not reproduced without prior permission from Tranzer B.V. and operators.

Your information

Tranzer provides you with the ability to access and edit your personal information. To update your personal info, click Account in the Tranzer menu. There you can view, update and correct your account information. Our databases automatically update any personal information you edit in your profile, or if you request us to edit your personal information.

Tranzer takes your privacy very seriously and therefore handles your personal information with the utmost care. In the privacy statement you can read how we process your data and for what uses.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify the Terms & Conditions at any time, effective upon posting the amended terms on this site and via the application. If we make changes, we will notify you by, at a minimum, revising the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms & Conditions. Supplemental terms may apply to certain Services, and such supplemental terms will be disclosed to you in connection with the applicable Services.

Notices and Complaints

Except when explicitly stated otherwise, any messages to Tranzer shall be sent by e-mail via support@tranzer.com. Any notices to you shall be provided to you through the Tranzer Platform or given to you via the e-mail address you provide to Tranzer during the registration process. To resolve a complaint regarding the Tranzer Platform, you should always contact our service desk at support@tranzer.com.

Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands; the competent court is “court Midden Nederland”.
